PEARL NAIL BAR – SALON POLICY

1. Appointments & Booking

  • Highly Recommended: We encourage booking in advance to ensure your preferred time slot.

  • Walk-ins: Welcome and served based on current availability.

  • Securing Bookings: A valid credit card may be required to guarantee your appointment.

  • Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or the need to reschedule.


2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Fees: Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booked service value.

  • Repeat No-Shows: Future bookings may require full prepayment.


3. Deposits

  • Special Services: Long nails, intricate nail art, or group bookings may require a non-refundable deposit.

  • Application: Deposits will be applied toward your final bill.

  • Forfeiture: Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.


4. Service Guarantee (Warranty)

  • Regular Polish: Not covered under warranty.

  • Shellac/Gel Services: We offer a 7-day guarantee from the date of service.

  • Complimentary Fixes: We will fix chipping, lifting, or technical defects free of charge within this period.

Conditions:

  • You must notify the salon within the 7-day window.

  • Fixes must be performed at the original salon location.

  • Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover a “change of mind” (color/shape) or damage caused by the client (picking, accidents, or improper care).


5. Refund Policy

  • Services: All services are non-refundable.

  • Resolution: We are committed to fixing any issues within the guarantee period to ensure your satisfaction.

  • Products: All retail product sales are final unless proven defective.


6. Health & Safety

  • Refusal of Service: For everyone’s safety, we cannot serve clients with infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions.

  • Medical Info: Please inform our staff of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your service.

  • Standards: We follow strict sanitation and sterilization procedures in compliance with Ontario regulations.


7. Children Policy

  • Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Safety First: For safety reasons, children are not permitted in the service areas unless they are receiving a treatment.

  • Liability: The salon is not responsible for any injuries or accidents involving unsupervised children.


8. Personal Belongings

  • Please keep your valuables with you. The salon is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.


9. Pricing

  • Variable Rates: Final prices may vary based on nail length, shape, design complexity, and the condition of your natural nails.

  • Consultation: Final pricing will be confirmed during your initial consultation.

  • Add-ons: Additional charges apply for nail art, repairs, or extra services.


10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:

  • Displays disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Arrives in an unsafe or unhygienic condition.

  • Fails to comply with our salon policies.


11. Payment Methods

  • We accept Cash, Debit, and Credit Cards.

  • All prices are subject to applicable taxes (HST).


12. Liability Waiver

  • By receiving services, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with nail treatments.

  • The salon is not liable for adverse reactions if relevant health conditions were not disclosed.


13. Promotions & Discounts

  • Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

  • Please present any discounts or coupons at the time of payment.


14. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information is kept strictly confidential and is used solely for booking and service communication.
